Welcome to the Development Toy Library in NZ!

We offer over 900 toys for hire from as little as $1 a fortnight. Guaranteed to delight, entertain and distract boys and girls of all ages from newborn up.

Early play is part of a child's first steps toward their education and development. Our range of safe, educational, fun toys and resources are carefully chosen to inspire and promote creative and active play for children in New Zealand.

We are working on the age range to be newborns and above. The library collection is regularly updated with new toys and resources. Puzzles, games, Duplo, activity centres, Lego, train sets, electronic toys, ride-on, dress-up costumes, puppets, art sets, garden toys, and much more...

The Toy Library needs your help!

We are a non-profit organization run by a voluntary committee with support from our members and their families. We are always in need of new committee members. From each new committee member, we gain new ideas and a fresh look into what can be improved. So come, join the fun group and help your local toy library stay fresh and new.
